AKHRI – Mothers and Daughters Literacy empowers girls and women with the power to learn, to be heard, to be seen, and to make a difference. We believe that educated, empowered women can change the world. We strive to break the cycle of illiteracy among rural women and girls. We work to erase barriers in education through basic literacy, education, and market-driven job skills training. We dedicate ourselves to helping girls and women reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives.
